Abstract
|

|
This is a rare case of nasopharyngeal reticulum cell sarcoma in a 3 year old child who might be one of the youngest among those who have ever been reported.
Increasing attention has been paid for its clinical peculiarity and diagnostic difficulty in recent years.
If an early and correct diagnosis is to be made for nasopharyngeal malignancy it should be borne in mind that this tumor spares no age although there is a peak incidence in a certain group of age.
With the advent of supervoltage irradiation and perfusion chemotherapy, the survival rate which was once considered to be very low is now becoming higher.
